Where The Magic Happens
Because…Achieving Big Bold Goals Begins at Home
Is your home life where it needs to be?
Do you have strong supportive home foundations that lift you to achieve your goals, or does it hold you back?
Relationships and family life have traditionally been “off the table” when it comes to discussions about business success. They have often been the unspoken factor, rarely acknowledged or addressed.
This needs to change.
In a recent survey, over 69% of senior leaders revealed serious relationship problems at home which made them much less capable of performing at work.
In this inspiring and highly practical talk, Caspar Craven will share stories, research, insights, and ideas that can help every person more likely to achieve their Big Bold Goals at work.
Crucially, this does NOT invoke the flawed concept of “better work-life balance,” which is unrealistic for ambitious leaders. Instead, it offers conversations and tools for integration, resilience, and alignment.
This talk stands out by blending ambition, emotional connection, and practical tools to help leaders at all levels to
Build stronger resilience, meaning your leaders can sustain long-term high-performance levels.
Deepen their understanding of what it takes to create a culture capable of achieving your Big Bold Goals
Unlock high-performance teamwork across all their teams (work and home)
Increase their probability of achieving challenging work goals
Strengthen their relationships (work and home) through better conversations

What audiences are saying about The Where The Magic Happens Talk in 2025:
“Ships in the Night”
We were that couple. The one you hear about but never think you’ll become.
We were close—dangerously close—to getting divorced. Cash flow was unbelievably tight. I was working 16, sometimes 18 hours a day, juggling a million things at once, with no end in sight. Most days, I didn’t even know which way was up.
My routine was relentless. I’d go home, bolt down some food, carry on working, exchange a few words with Nichola, and inevitably, we’d argue. Not always explosive fights, but often those short, sharp clashes that leave both of you feeling bruised.
I’d go to bed exhausted. She’d stay up a couple of hours later. I’d wake up first, leave before she was even awake. We were passing each other like ships in the night. Sex was off the table.
And here’s the thing no one tells you: it’s impossible to do good work—truly good work—when your mind is filled with negative thoughts about your relationship. I was drained, distracted, and distant. Our business felt like it was failing, and so did my marriage.
I thought I could push through. That if I just worked harder, solved the cash flow problems, and got the business on stable ground, everything else would sort itself out. But I was wrong.
I needed to rethink how I approached both my home life and my work life. My journey was just beginning.
