Who are You?
If I ask you, who are you, what answer would you give me?
Perhaps something defined by the role, the job you do, what you trained as?
I’m an accountant, a lawyer, an entrepreneur, a change maker, CEO, A Director?
Perhaps it might be related to the most important relationships in your life?
I’m a Dad, Mum, Husband, Wife, Brother, Sister.
Or maybe it’s none of the above and it’s something you’ve created.
Is it a question you often stop to reflect on?

I notice that many of us are world-class at creating to-do lists.
The actions, big and small that we need to tick off each day and week.
How many of us create a “Who” list.
As in who are we going to be this week.
Are we going to be leaders, kind, a learner, someone’s who curious, someone who puts people first or any other variation you might think of?
I think it’s a lot rarer. Something we seldom do/
When was the last time you sat down and reflected on the story you carry of who you are?
When was the last time you upgraded that story and rebooted how you could see yourself?
It’s one of the key tools that I believe leaders need to use themselves.
It’s one of the key tools that I believe leaders need to coach their teams on.
My challenge to you.
Set aside 5 minutes and reflect on who you are and how you could shape the “who you are" language in a more impactful way.
