The Off Button

From the desk of Caspar:

The Off Button

My wife always used to joke that she’s always looked for my off button and has still never found it.

This Christmas, I’m found it and will be flipping the switch today. If like me, it’s been a rollercoaster of a year then time to stop, reflect and recharge is vital. Especially if you want 2021 to be a big bold year of making things happen.

A huge thank you to you for for being a part of my world, for reading my thoughts and ideas and I wish for you and your loved ones a relaxing break and a spectacular 2021,

Time to hit that off button!

The first day of Summer

Who else loves celebrating the 21st December. It’s the Winter Solstice and in my book, it’s the first day of summer as the days start to get longer again. It feels like we’re on a lighter upwards trajectory.

The day after, the 22nd December is my son’s birthday so always a great reason for a double celebration. He’s a budding chef and this year he had a request for three very specific birthday meals. This meant Nichola and me doing triple shifts in the kitchen with a very high bar! Fortunately with some large sides of humour we got there!

I always love to look for reasons for do be positive and to bring in some humour. In times of uncertainty and change, I always find it helps.

Big Bold Bites

What’s the idea behind building out leadership development programmes to accompany inspirational talks? I’m delighted to introduce Sue who is part of the Big Bold Goals team - our goal is to help teams achieve their big bold goals.

Thought for the day

Caspar recently spoke at our virtual annual conference event and was a massive hit! His approachable, knowledgable and practicable style meant that ‘Big Bold Goals’ resonated fantastically well on a very personal level, as well aspirationally from a team and company culture perspective. I could easily identify with him myself because putting people at the centre is a core belief for me - as I’m sure it is for many others. I’m following Caspar’s journey with BBG with great interest for what is next! (#no pressure 😉
